The SS Great Britain, Brunel's 1843 iron-hulled ocean-going steamship and the world's first large ocean-going ship with a screw propeller and iron hull, is preserved in a dry dock at Bristol's Harbourside and is one of the most significant surviving industrial heritage vessels in the world.
