Who we are

Halifax's Whole-of-Market Broker Since 2016

Woodhall Mortgages is a whole-of-market mortgage broker based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. We have been providing FCA regulated mortgage advice since 2016, from straightforward first-time buyer purchases to complex cases involving adverse credit, unusual properties and specialist income. Our mortgage advisers are based in Halifax and work with clients across Calderdale, West Yorkshire and throughout the UK.

Most clients come to us after a high street bank has either declined them or offered a product that does not fit. Our job is to find the right lender for your actual circumstances. We consider a broad range of lenders, including those that do not accept direct applications.

You deal with one adviser throughout. No handoffs, no call centres, no repeating yourself.

Woodhall Mortgages is a whole-of-market, FCA-regulated mortgage broker (FRN 762513) established in Halifax, West Yorkshire in 2016. We are not tied to any lender or panel and consider a comprehensive range of mortgages from across the market. We specialise in cases that do not fit standard lender criteria: self-employed applicants with one or two years of accounts, adverse credit including CCJs and defaults, later-life lending, key worker mortgages, first-time buyers using government schemes, and complex income structures. Our broker fee is £299, payable only on receipt of a formal mortgage offer. The initial consultation is free and without obligation. We may also receive commission from lenders, which is disclosed before you proceed. Not all lenders or products may be included.
